This 70% cacao bar is crafted from cacao produced by Adriano de Jesus Rodriguez and Gualberto Acebey Torrejon in the San Francisco de Marcios region in northeastern part of the island of Hispaniola. They have more than 50 years of experience producing fine cacao. The Öko-Caribe cooperative maintains close relationships with its 165 farmers through technical training, in agronomic practices and organic certification.

Tasting Notes: Our 70% bar balances, fruit (strawberry, avocado and banana) with slight coffee bitterness and the sweetness of honey. The finish is slightly astringent and leaves a bit of fruit and milky acidity.
