This 65% dark chocolate was hand crafted from raw cacao and organic sugar in Topeka, KS.
Bertil Akesson owner of 'Akesson Plantation', produces this delightful cacao in northern Madagascar's Sambirano River Valley. This cacao has a wonderfully complex set of fruit flavors with the strongest notes being chocolate, cherry, raspberry and raisin. If you taste slowly and deeply, you’ll pick up the aroma of fruit blossoms. Genetically, our Sambirano is a Trinitario variety with roots in the Caribbean Island of Trinidad
